Hummingbird Festival Day 2

Celebrate the Ruby Throated Hummingbird as they prepare to migrate. Presentations and activities scheduled throughout the weekend that will intrigue any bird lover.
Thursday, September 4: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
10 a.m. - Noon: Make a hummingbird perch from the DeWitt Center (registration required here: www.webtrac.indepmo.org )
1 p.m.. - 1:45 p.m.: Learn about the hummingbird migration. Presentation taking place in the Eva Cooper Lodge at the Nature Park.
Friday, September 5: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

1 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.: Learn how to attract hummingbirds to your yard. Presentation taking place in the Eva Cooper Lodge at the Nature Park.
Saturday, September 6: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
8 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Professional hummingbird banding, taking place behind the Eva Cooper Lodge
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Experience the MCPL Reading Rocket
10 a.m. - Noon: Make a hummingbird perch in the DeWitt Center (registration required here: www.webtrac.indepmo.org )
