IndeCleanup Neighborhood Drop-off - District 1

This fall, the City is launching Love Where You Live: IndeCleanup, a new community cleanup initiative that brings together residents, volunteers, community partners, and City resources to help improve Independence.

As part of that effort, we are bringing temporary dumpsters to District 1 at the Fairmount Community Center, 217 S. Cedar Ave., on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 8 AM to 3 PM.

All Independence residents may use the Fairmount Community Center Drop-Off at no charge with proof of residency. Dumpsters are for eligible household items only. Residents are responsible for transporting and unloading their items at drop-off depot locations.

Visit the IndeCleanup webpage to see a list of items we can and can't accept.
