Rediscovering Independence

Rediscovering Independence is an online tool intended to introduce you to areas of the city that might not be familiar or that you have not visited in some time. These traditional neighborhoods are found throughout the city’s 78 square miles and boast a unique mix of building styles and area resources. The map and links below offer a “tour” of each traditional neighborhood’s location, history, common architectural styles, and amenities that will allow you to choose the perfect place to call home or to start your business.
