Located on the historic Independence Square, the Independence Uptown Market provides a year-round home for local farmers and crafters, as well as a venue for events, classes, and celebrations.

This award-winning mixed-use space -- comprised of a large, fully enclosed pavilion and a spacious, open-air pavilion -- can accommodate up to 300 participants for events. The facility primarily houses the Independence Farmers Market, but its calendar is filled with a variety of public and private programs and events annually.

The indoor and outdoor pavilions, combined, provide more than 14,000 square feet of programmable space. A catering kitchen and state-of-the-art sound system are available to rent for events.

First opened in 2018, the Independence Uptown Market was made possible through public-private partnerships and community support.
