Seven people stand shoulder to shoulder; two hold awards in the shape of Missouri.

Independence program wins two MML awards and hosts session at ICMA

The City of Independence received two awards through the Missouri Municipal League last week for its Independence T.O.G.E.T.H.E.R. initiative and is presenting at the 2024 International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Annual Conference on the national stage this week. These recognitions highlight the innovative approach the City is taking to solve two issues: assisting residents who are experiencing homelessness, and community beautification.
