Attention: Most City Offices Relocating

Most City departments are relocating to the Independence Municipal Commons, 20201 E. Jackson Drive, in the coming weeks. We look forward to serving you in our new location!  To avoid any inconvenience, please check ahead before visiting our current Maple Avenue office, as staff and services may be in the process of moving.

To be considered for a position you must first complete an application:

  • The online application must be submitted by the closing date specified on the job posting.
  • It is important that you fill out the application completely.
  • If the position requires the completion of a supplemental questionnaire it is important that you respond with factual information, selecting the option that most closely matches your background.
