Municipal Court & Police Records is moving to new locations

Important Dates: 

  • March 19 - Police Records Reopens (17221 E. 23rd St. S.) | Last day at 223 N. Memorial Dr. - March 9
  • March 23 - City Council Study Session at IMC (20201 E. Jackson Dr.) | Last day at 111 E. Maple Ave. - March 20
  • March 30 - Municipal Court Reopens (223 N. Memorial Dr.) | Last day at 111 E. Maple Ave. - March 13

Police Records Unit at 223 N Memorial Drive, including the Information Desk, is relocating to 17221 E 23rd Street (former Independence Utilities Center). 

  • The Records Request window will be closed March 9–13 during the move. Report requests can be submitted by email to RecordsRequests@indepmo.org
  • The Front Desk at 223 N. Memorial will remain open during this time, but services will be limited.
  • Records will reopen at 17221 E 23rd St on Monday March 16.
