Animal Field Services ensures public health and safety, provides the highest quality service and compassion to the animals entrusted to our care, works to measurably reduce companion animal overpopulation, and takes a leadership role in promoting humane values for the benefit of all animals.
Animal Services Officers are on duty 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for government holidays. Officers respond to emergencies after hours, on weekends, and on holidays. To report a dead animal, an animal running loose, animal neglect, animal bites, or dangerous animals, please call 816-325-7205.
Animal Services does not handle wildlife. We recommend that you contact a wildlife company to have wildlife removed from your property.
