Solar Farm

What is a Community Solar Farm?

Community Solar Farms are centrally located solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that produce electricity for participants.  They are a way for people to benefit from solar PV systems without installing their own systems.

Who is eligible to participate?

Anyone currently using IPL as their community energy partner.
Anyone who desires to have solar energy without the expense of installing their own systems.

Benefits of a Community Solar Farm

  1. Community Solar allows customers to lock in their energy prices for an extended period of time.
  2. Participants can effectively save money over time working together as one.
  3. The community as a whole will be helping their environment and in turn the Earth we all share.
