Independence Utilities offers you a choice of the following methods to pay your monthly combined utility bill.

Interactive Telephone Service (816)325-SERV

Independence Utilities offers interactive telephone service that allows our customers to pay their bill with a credit or debit card. Call (816) 325-SERV(7378), you will need your customer and account number located in the top right hand corner of your bill. It's that easy!

Utilities Online

Take advantage of the time-saving power of the Internet with our Utilities Online service. You can view your account balance, usage history, payment history as well as pay your bill with a credit or debit card. It's fast and secure!

Automated Bank Draft Authorization

By enrolling in Automated Payment Service, your regularly scheduled utility bill will be paid automatically from your checking account by your bank on the day your payment is due - and it's free!

Complete and return the below Automated Bank Draft Authorization Form to the City of Independence Utilities Customer Service Office at 17221 E. 23rd Street S., Independence, MO 64057. For account verification, please enclose a voided check or photocopy of check on the bank or other financial institution account from which you would like future utility bills deducted.

The traditional method. Pay your bill with a personal check or money order upon receipt of your bill.
