Independence Athletic Complex Fields

The Independence Athletic Complex is our premier facility for organized youth and adult sport games. Located on 165 acres in northern Independence, this complex features 2 baseball game fields, 3 softball game fields,  3 football game fields, and 8 soccer game fields.  The majority of our practice fields are located at our other parks throughout Independence and can be reserved.

The facility is primarily intended for organized sports and sports tournaments. In addition to fields, the Athletic Complex also includes a large shelter, an amphitheater, a playground, more than 1.5 miles of walking trails and ample parking.

Reserving Playing Fields

The Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department partners with several organizations to host hundreds of games annually. If you’re part of an area athletic organization and looking to schedule an upcoming game, season or tournament, please email a completed Field Request Form (link below) to Jeff Umbreit at gonp@indepmo.org or contact Jeff for more details, including requirements, pricing and all related forms.
